Making a sound comparable to the lord of fluffy ambiance-pop, Yanni, this reggae rapster is reaping the fruits of effervescent, big band pop and intermingling slices of Harry Belafonte into it for a cocktail of cordial summer beats. Not too dark, this open-minded sound comes from the hands of a musician that can contort moody and atmospheric basslines into alerts of effecting gospel. ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ and ‘Armageddon’ are heavier than ‘Change Your Ways’, but the message is the same. This is a band using music to inspire, without condemning.
