INFERNO - BIO A BRIEF HISTORY OF INFERNO JUNE ’07 It all began with three teenagers making some noise in an attic in august ‘03 Nine short months after Inferno started, they released a four track demo entitled the “Phoenix EP”. With a promising and exciting mix of Classic rock and stoner sludge, it left all who heard it, craving for more. A session for BBC Radio Wales soon followed with DJ Adam Walton describing the trio as “extremely precious” Raised on a steady diet of Kyuss, Mastodon, Queens of the Stone Age, Pink Floyd, Clutch and Motorhead, Inferno (Joe Harvey, Bass and vocals / Liam Jepson, Guitar / Jay Lee, Drums) are always focused on honing their craft and building a reputation as a powerful, destructive and unforgettable live band. They continue to keep turning heads every time they play and they swear by their mantra, “anytime, anyplace to anyone”. In the last three years the band have covered most of the UK, including London, Cardiff, Manchester, Birmingham, Oxford and countless towns and villages. They have even travelled to Russia and Holland with dates in Finland booked for August ’07. Inferno were humbled last year, when they were named band of the month on “Danko Radio” a Canadian on-line radio station based in Ontario. They were interviewed via a web-link and it was a crowning achievement for the band. June’07 sees the trio releasing “The Suicide Pact” six tracks of the band’s rawest, heaviest and most honest material to date. From the unrelenting freight train pace of opener, “El Toro”, to the razor-sharp revenge anthem “Judas”. The Suicide Pact documents the raw emotion and destructive nature of modern life for the band Contacts Jim: +44(0)7818411145 Web: www.inferno.org.uk www.myspace.com/infernorockband E-mail: jlee_22@sky.com thursda 13th december inferno were awarded the unsigned band/demo for 2007 by Sheffield University, thursday night rock show radio station. we r delighted with this honour
